Good first attempt, maybe you should try using more subtle colors, like a lighter shade of red and green etc. and try making them slightly smaller so that they could go good with more minimal contact list, but they have a lot of potential good job! :-)

i double the request for the message view, it would be nice to give it a try :-) great job on the icon too!!

Adium does not currently support video, you could maybe change the icon in the bubble from a camera to something more fit to adium...ideas anyone? the status icons also could be more interesting. just my 2 cents..
