Yes, I just downloaded the new version today and I am still seeing this.

I really like this style. The only little bug is that long messages (i.e. when someone sends a web address) end up extending the message column beyond the size of the window. This is pretty much only with URLs, since normal text never is that long and so wraps properly.

I should clarify: it looks too low.

I really like it. The only complaint I have is that it appears off-center vertically in my menu bar (Leopard).
