It's already fixed in the adium plugin, you can download it from my blog or wait till it gets approved on this site.

I've submitted an update of the plugin but it needs to get approved by a moderator. May this cause a download problem, my test download worked but nevermind if you want to download a fresh version you can visit my blog: http://blog.thyphoon.org/ to download the plugin.
