That sucks. But it probably doesn't matter, since Microsoft appears to be killing off the Skype API the plugin relies on:

Worked perfectly for me for the last 6 months, but crashes too frequently to use after OSX 10.9 Mavericks upgrade. Possibly an issue with libpurple? Here's a crash dump: http://pastebin.com/Ut73hE1c
