I have installed and reinstalled yMous several times today, and have restarted Adium a few times as well.
OS X 10.5.7
Safari 4.0.2 (5530.19)
Adium 1.4b8
The problem only occurs on XtraColor variants, but happens in both Mercurial and Saturnine. The problem does occur in the prefpane, but the fewer messages there are, the less pronounced the problem (it's cumulative), so it's hard to notice there.
