I'm going to post a new version in just a few moments. The look is much better now, and I have switched to using tool tips.

By using tool tips I am able to show the time stamp for each message (rather than grouping them) and there are no longer issues with text moving.

I'd like to get the click to show working better, but until I do I'm going to leave it out.

I'm working on a new version. The previously posted version was really just a first go at it. I didn't get the look right. I have the look I want now, I just don't know if I have the behavior I want.

For the time being I have switched to using tool tips, rather than clicking to show and hide details. It is simply too difficult to avoid scrolling issues, and to not confuse the hell out of people.

If you prefer the click to show method please let me know. I'd like to have as much input on this as possible. Also if you have any ideas for a variation on my implementation that might make it more usable... I'm all ears.

Assuming I get home from work at a decent hour tomorrow I will post the new version, so that all can see what the new look is. I've still got a spacing issue to fix, but aside from that I think it looks absolutely brilliant.

Again, please let me know what you think about the tooltip vs click issue.
