Bam is only a fan, but has directed a video or two I believe for the band for free.

it well is his infernal majesty. They only shortened it because people wouldnt bother to say it everytime, or had dificulties with it. greets. They only played about two shows under that name and when people began to associate them with Satanism and the church-burning black metal of the time, they quickly shortened it to HIM. In no production of theirs ever released to retail, have they gone under the name "H.I.M"...on no cover, in no insert...never. In interviews, Ville backs this up himself [read: the DVDs]. Clue in.
