However, I think the Away state seems a little odd as it's so small.
# by pedroL on 07/12/09 at 02:41:00What an amazing Adium icon!!! I hope you keep on improving it.
How about a more visible invisible state? :) # by k2rii on 08/11/09 at 00:27:19Since a very long time I haven't changed the Adium Icon, only now I am doing that. Fantastic design. Sorry to make a negative comment, I would not like that to be seen as a way to say this is a bad icon, not at all, one of the best I have seen. I am not very happy with the way the away icon looks in the dock. Though I find it original with the steps and the bird walking away, it looks very small in the dock and so it makes the whole dock look messy. Awesome icon! Keep up the good work. Cheers!
# by kestertaylor on 09/04/09 at 07:12:19Seriously. One of the best icons of all time, with the added bonus that it uses the duck. So often with the best looking icons I feel weird because they don't remotely indicate that it's Adium I'm using (one of my long-time favorites is Windows Live Inspired, for example). Funny, fresh, brilliantly derivative.
-k. # by jhonbob3 on 09/07/09 at 20:01:26This is a great icon. Humorous and well designed. However, it seems that if I am away for an extended period of time, it will not return the icon to it's online state when I return. It just sits there in away mode. If this gets fixed, it would be my icon for a long time to come for sure.
# by jhonbob3 on 09/08/09 at 19:40:53Ok. I figured out how to fix that issue.
It happens when you are away and you leave long enough for your account to go Idle. Problem is, there's no picture named Idle.png but there is one named Idole.png Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Dock Icons/ Right-click on FatBird.green.AdiumIcon and Show Package Contents. Then, simply rename Idole.png to Idle.png Should work great. # by visualize27 on 09/14/09 at 14:08:46Remember to look at this author's website for multiple colors :)
# by visualize27 on 09/14/09 at 14:15:38Also the Alert1.png is 512px where it should be 128px like the other Alert PNG files. Just a reminder to you all if you let Adium alert you with badges.
Great AdiumIcon! Thanks. # by saugun on 09/27/09 at 04:39:15This is soooooooooo cute !!! I've seen this in other colors except a yello one.
if you can make a fat yellow bird, that would be a great collection! # by MonsieurLemon on 10/19/09 at 10:09:28The new version with the new colors is beautiful! Any chance of getting a white or a pink bird?
# by pedrojosegm on 11/11/09 at 20:42:05nice icon, definitely it has became my oficial adium icon. it would be great if you create the menu bar icon version.
# by pedrojosegm on 02/15/10 at 22:56:16Any chance for us to expect the menu bar icon version, for the fatbird????
# by mistercam on 07/31/10 at 16:29:32Finally, a new and fresh looking icon set. It looks great! Good job!
# by suzykaploozie on 04/14/11 at 18:17:41AWESOME! I love it, thank you! Would be a huge plus if it came in different colors... I personally would love a pink duck ;)
# by suzykaploozie on 04/14/11 at 18:18:20haha disregard my last comment... just realized it comes in diff colors. You rock!
# by corinnader on 12/27/12 at 20:48:50This is my favorite dock icon by far!! Is anyone else having trouble with the dock icon going back to the default Adium duck when the program shuts down? This happened to me after I upgraded to Mountain Lion. I tried removing it and reinstalling, but I'm still having the problem. Any suggestions?
