Description

These status icons were made (with the developer's permission) from the resources of my favorite to-do manager, Anxiety. Not tremendously creative in execution but they match the style I was going for more than the (also cool) Twitterific icons I'd been using, and really fit the HUD look.

i mean "I am away from my computer..." and so on

Thats weird, mine is check but I can't see any MSN status messages :S
Does it require any special List layout ?

Go to the Adium prefs, under advanced, and make sure "Show display names as status messages" is checked. Maybe that will do it (I'm just guessing since I never use MSN).

Unfortunately, custom status messages don't work in the current version of libpurple. They'll probably be added at some point in the future, but there's no ETA on it since it's pretty much out of our control.

That made the users names display as the status message and the email as their name... thnx anyway

I think they want to know how to get the "rounded edges and X to close", i.e., the HUD look. I'm a bit curious myself.

Click on the "HUD" link towards the end of the description, there you'll find the files you need.

I love this set, but having [+] be 'away', and [ ] be available seems counterintuitive to me...maybe I'm just nit-picky. Looks FANTASTIC with HUD, by the way. 4/5 :)

Think of [ ] as open for chat, and [+] as online but with the addition of a note saying they're away. It's kind of the convention the original AIM client used, with nothing for available people and the sticky note if they were away.
