GOLDEN RULE: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CONNECTION: IN THIS CASE, IS THE CODE WRITTEN FOR THE SET CAUGHT UP BEHIND FIREWALL(S), IF SO, CHECK CODE. MOST PEOPLE JUST COPY & PASTE CODE. REMEMBER-TO WORK IN ADIUM & ANY ADDED, IE MSN, YAHOO IM , ETC. CODE MUST BE HTML TO WORK IN THESE. 2..GET EVERYONE HERE ON BOARD TO ASK AUTHOR TO FIX THE PROBLEM: HELLO, MICRO MACRELLI (pigaz): PLEASE REVIEW YOUR CODE & RESOLVE UNSEEN EMOTICONS. THANK YOU FROM ALL HERE WHO WOULD LIKE TO USE YOUR SET WITHOUT MESSING UP OUR MACS. THAT IS WHY I'VE SENT THE SAME REPLY TO YOU ALL. 2. WHEN BUG FIXING, NEVER START FROM THE END & WORK BACK, START FROM THE BEGINNING & WORK TO THE END. WRITER SHOULD PICK UP THE ERROR. 3. SINCE WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE AUTHOR WROTE IN CODE WE ALL HAVE THE ORIGINAL SUBMITTER OF THE SET "FIX" THE CODE. THEN, 4. WE ALL CAN DELETE THE SET FROM ADIUM PREFERENCES & MAKE SURE 5. THE APP SUPPORT PLISTS ARE DRAGGED TO THE TRASH. CHECK THE ICON FACTORY & SIMILAR SITES FOR RESOURCES. SETTING THE SIZE IS KEY+ MAKE SURE IT IS HTML CODE!! ALSO, IF YOU HAVE SEVERAL IM'S WITHIN ADIUM, CHECK iCHAT + AOL'S AIM-THEY ALWAYS ARE BUGGY. TESTING: HAS ANYONE TRIED COPY & PASTE ACTUAL MOVING AVATAR INTO IM & SEND TO FRIEND? TRY A STILL ONE, THEN MOVING VERSION. SEE IF MAKES A DIFFERENCE. IF IT DOES, THEN IT'S IN THE HTML CODE PERTAINING TO THE MOVEMENT POSITIONING ITSELF. LAST RESORT: MANY USER-SUBMITTED APPS HAVE BEEN SENT FROM VARIOUS LOCALES OTHER THAN USA. THEY'RE OFTEN WRITTEN IN NATIVE LANGUAGE FIRST, THEN TRANSLATED INTO ENGLISH. IT MAY BE THAT THIS IS THE CASE WITH SOME PROBLEM SUBMISSIONS. ONE WRONG WORD, REVERSED LETTERS OR MISWRITTEN LINE OF COMMANDS CAN THROW THE WHOLE APPLICATION OFF. T___T
# by Hunraken on 07/20/09 at 05:30:25BerryJam, I am having the same trouble as you are. While my friends don't have the emoticons, I have been asking them all day whether they can see them or not. They can't. All they see is the script to get the emoticon up there (aka :hi:). It makes me very sad. I would appreciate if anyone could explain to me how to fix this and why it is not working. Thanks!
