Like, maybe you shrunk it, when instead you should've added the drop shadow after the thing was already shrunk? Because it looks a tad pixelated in a sense... The large one is definitely a nicer image than the icons that actually show. It's a great idea, really, but if only that quality would show in the status icon size.
