You can make it work in all browsers by simply doing "open location". i.e.

open location "http://ww.google.com"

I'm amazed at how many people don't know applescript does that....

It hurts my eyes too. I'm glad you're not particularly proud of it, or I might have to hurt you.

that said, it should fit in nicely with tons of equally eye-hurting desktops and skins I've seen.

the only time this script would be remotely useful is for pasting... i would recommend you reconsider the implementation of it, given that. /uncaps alone could insert a lowercase'd version of whatever's on the clipboard at the time - several fewer keystrokes and less chance for error.

I bet it got rated low because it really doesn't look good... the tinfoil is too flat.

If I were less lazy I'd make it better.
