Is it possible to remove the quotes? Its just a little bit... weird... besides that, pretty good theme... Oh and, is it possible to make the nickname space dynamic, so large nicknames won't overlap text?

Well... status icons, I don't know, I did not create the emoticons, nor I know how to contact the author, I just recompiled them.

And for usage of both sets, you could select them individually on preferences... I'd tell you how, but my mac is being repaired (I don't know how, but the Shift Key went flying....)
