thanks stavros for the fix. it really wasnt that hard to find. here is the location if anyone doesnt want to search for it:
/Users/Your User Name/Library/Application Support/Adium2.0/Message Styles/Pushpin.adiumMessageSytle/Contents/Resources/Styles
Use any text editor to open the .css file and edit it as starvos shows in his second post.
