Description/buzz sends an ascii CTRL-G (BELL) character, which causes Yahoo! Messenger to "buzz".CommentsYou can reply to individual comments by clicking the "Reply" link next to each. # by BlueRevolution on 11/19/04 at 06:23:15when you get buzzed doesn't the screen appear as "BUZZ!"? there's no sound associated though. unfortunately you can't script for that with the current version of Adium. the script's awesome, something that I do actually need occasionally. kudos to you for finding a solution!
# by ozean on 11/20/04 at 15:20:15Isn't it possible to just enter "" to produce buzzing in Yahoo! Messenger?
# by ozean on 11/20/04 at 15:23:50Hmm, did display? how to encode this so that it shows up in these comments? you would have to enter the word "ding" in tag brackets (i.e. the "smaller than" and "greater than" symbols) (and without the quotes, of course)
# by on 12/03/04 at 11:13:48I installed the Buzz xtra but it doesn't work. My friend says he/she doesn't get any Buzz there.
Any suggestion? # by on 12/07/04 at 21:57:06I tried buzzing myself (one account running on Adium and another on YIM), but it didn't work. Just showed up as an empty message.
# by on 12/13/04 at 18:20:48Current Gaim source supports buzzing (only in a "Buzz" displayed sort of way, not the obnoxious window shaking way)... Can't remember if libgaim includes this at present or not, but it will in the future.
