DescriptionIntroducing iCandy!iCandy came from the need to unify all the messaging clients I use. It emulates Apple's Messages UI as closely as possible while throwing in some features tailored to Adium. Includes: - Slightly tweaked crisp bubbles from iChat/Messages - 8 bubble colours - Aqua - Clear - Graphite - Lemon - Lime - Orange - Pink - Purple - Non-avatar username only variant (just uncheck Show Icons) - Customised file transfer request - Shuffle mode Amazingly easy to add new colours or new variants By default, this messagestyle comes with 16 variants. However, it is possible to get up to 64 variants without knowing a single line of code! Simply right click on the messagestyle package, navigate to /Contents/Resources/Variants/ and add a blank .css file with the following naming convention : incomingColour vs outgoingColour.css and you should be able to use your new variant! The 8 colours mentioned above are included in the code, however, if you want to add your own colour, just open /Contents/Resources/colors.js and follow the instructions! Changesv1.1- Added automated version checker - Tweaked bubble colours more better contrast and legibility - Faster animations (hopefully should fix the lag bugs some reported) - Almost half the size of 1.0! - Improved shuffle mode. No more instances of having the same incoming and outgoing colours v1.0 Primary release ImagesCommentsYou can reply to individual comments by clicking the "Reply" link next to each. # by pritthish on 03/02/12 at 08:58:38@paul for some reason I can't reply to your comment. have you tried restarting adium/toggling between themes?
# by paulwilde on 03/02/12 at 11:34:54Reinstalling seems to have fixed the issues!
Captcha has broken the comments I guess. # by 2DForever on 04/13/12 at 15:54:24This is great. I love some of the smaller details like the message header.
My only gripe is that it lacks group talk support. It works, it's just a fun guessing game of who said what ;) I'd love to see an update with group chat support, but in the mean time I'm just keeping this one for individual chats. Nicely done. There is also a hidden div under the last received message that opens up your Deviantart page.
