Description

eXium is a zipped package with two files, one for the contact-list view and one for the contact-list colors.

eXium works great on light backgrounds, since is semi-transparant and matches the MacOSX graphical user interface, especially MacOSX 10.3 and above.

Using Growl's bezel notifications is strongly recommended, since that makes Adium and eXium look even more like MacOSX.

eXium's look can be altered in many different ways, like adding the screennames between brackets or showing the display pictures of users.

Please notice that the screenshot shows a lot of groups, since I just like groups. I've also placed two sample folders under the contact-list to give an idea about the transparancy. I'm also not showing offline contacts, since i have quite a number of contacts and otherwise my list would get too long. Offline contacts will be showed in grey, while online contacts will show up as white. Ow and contacts are sorted by status in my situation. I'm also using the full lenghts of people's names on MSN. So this screenshot is a wide one. I have a widescreen flatpanel iMac, so it doens't bother me that much. Off course you can set it smaller, just open up the preferences and set it smaller or to whatever setting you like.

Just play around with it and if you decide to post an eXium spin-off, please notify me (i want to see it; i will probably be enthousiastic!) and don't forget to give credit where it's due.
