The Hartford Whalers were a North American professional ice hockey.
From 1972 to 1979 the New England Whalers were members of the World Hockey Association (WHA). From 1979 to 1997 they played in National Hockey League (NHL). In 1997 the franchise moved to Carolina and became the Carolina Hurricanes.

Les Whalers d'Hartfors étaient une équipe nord américaine de hockey. De 1972 à 1979 les Whalers de Nouvelle Angleterre étaient membres de l'Association Mondial de Hockey (WHA). De 1979 à 1997 ils ont joué en Ligue National de Hockey (LNH). En 1997 la franchise revient à la Caroline et ils deviennent les Hurricanes de Caroline.
