Not-So-Big Icons, v2.0 |

Description0.8 users - I recommend opacity set between 30% and 50%.The suggested contact list styles to match the popular message style "Big Icons" (also shown). It includes both a bold contact bubbles layout, and a subtler group bubbles one. Designed to be colourful, with clear on-line and off-line colours to attract attention, yet tasteful. Reminiscent of the Spotlight search results windows in Tiger, I think (maybe that's just me) - and the OS X traffic lights appear as the on- and off-line indicators. New message colour is the same as typing colour - when the message is ready, it begins to flash. Maybe not to everyone's taste, but I've been doing it that way for a while now :) v2.0 now has colours to match all of the default Big Icons styles - blue, green, grey and red. Includes two different list layouts, and four colour themes (the only difference is the group colour). Please note that I suggest you use these together, as the colours were chosen with translucent bubbles in mind, and they look a bit pants with any other layout :) Please see my website for more goodies. The original (and other colours) is here: http://smhill.net/article/104 and my modified blue one is http://homepage.ntlworld.com/allcorn/.../bender.png Sadly, Bender has now been supplanted by U2 http://homepage.ntlworld.com/allcorn/...odDesktops/ but he lives on here.
# by on 10/23/04 at 05:27:51That is an awesome desktop. *ganks* In fact, the original would conflict with my icons too, so thanks for posting your modded one; that'll work better.
I dig the style too, so I think I'll grab that as well. # by bob_the_gorilla on 10/25/04 at 20:41:32 - Well, I say i modified it. Honesty would be that actually my mate did, who first found it ;)
