The Bears need to find themselves a new middle linebacker, double quick time since their star Brian Urlacher is essentially done for the season, and rumor is that they are looking at Derrick Brooks. Derrick Brooks is a good pick – he's known as a very competent linebacker and is in fact a Super Bowl winner with his former team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. (Tampa Bay triumphed over the Oakland Raiders in 2003 – dubbed the "Pirate Bowl.") Brooks was released by his team after the 2008 season, in which they failed to reach the playoffs. Replacing Urlacher is not an easy task, but a player as skilled as Derrick Brooks is possibly worth some payday loans to pick up.
