Description

This is the original Yahoo! Messenger for Mac 3.0 beta set of sounds ripped from the official application bundle. Thus credit goes to Yahoo! for the original sound files.

Being a long time user of Yahoo!'s official chat client, I was so accustomed to the sound used in the particular program that I decided to repackaged all the sound files for use with my current instant messenger of choice, Adium.

Included sounds in the set are:
    • Contact signs on *contact_online.aif*
    • Contact signs off *contact_offline.aif
    • Notification received *buzz.aif*
    • Message Received (Initial), Message Received, Message Received (Background Chat), Message Received (Group Chat) *receive_message.aif*
    • Message Sent *send_message.aif*
    • You connect *login.aif*
    • You disconnect *logout.aif*
    • New email notification *alert.aif*

    nice! i used to use yim and ichat, and then replaced both with adium, but was disappointed that not all the ichat sounds were included... now ive combined these sounds with the ichat ones and i love it..thanks!
