DescriptionThis is my first Adium theme. As Adium is soon getting Twitter support, I'm working on a theme that will give me a suitable interface. Of course, it's meant to work fine with any kind of service. This is very much a work in progress, but I'm uploading this version now to get your opinions and possible bug reports. Features included in this release: Zooming profile images. Look 'n feel inspired by Tweetie on the Iphone. ChangesVersion 0.7: Initial uploadVersion 0.8: Polished fade/colors, bugfixes Version 0.9: Support for "mentioned" (blue), fixed buddyicon aspect, smoother zooming ImagesCommentsYou can reply to individual comments by clicking the "Reply" link next to each. # by zacw on 03/19/09 at 14:34:08A few comments:
I think the zooming of user icons should collapse based on the original icon's dimensions, not the new - it makes it hard to zoom through a list, and even harder to get rid of a zoom. nextContent on a context-load are displaying the non-context style (ie, gradient). Otherwise, looking good. Worth using! # by durin42 on 03/19/09 at 14:50:20It'd be nice if the colors for sent from me and incoming were configurable or more different - I'm red-green deficient and the green and black are not different enough to tell the difference without staring for a minute or two.
# by zacw on 03/19/09 at 14:53:03A secondary concern: the next content looks kind of weird when a ton of them are sent: http://hiks.net/screenshots/66c88cd31...b406460.png
# by helloandy on 03/19/09 at 15:01:17Most (if not all?) Twitter clients will show each nextcontent as a new message, complete with a buddyicon and everything. That seemed a bit overkill with Adium but the usual more merged message style didn't work very well either since each tweet is a completely new message, which may or may not be addressed to you.
A little tricky to make a style that works for both twitter and msn/icq/... :) # by 61Tipo61 on 03/19/09 at 17:22:57Any chance that a variant matching the lighter "Simple" theme from Tweetie could be added?
# by zacw on 03/20/09 at 21:48:25You should mark this as a version 4 message style:
Info.plist -> MessageViewVersion (currently 3, change it to 4) This makes status message coalescing work, among some other things. You aren't using a custom Template.html so it doesn't matter. # by iMalakina on 07/07/09 at 10:31:04really nice. Is it possible to change the nicknames to that blue like on the screenshot? because i dont use twitter with adium and I think the blue just looks great with this theme. however, I only see the blue when a link is sent.
# by arahadforandir on 09/05/09 at 03:44:39I really like this style, but I would like to be able to change the font for the names heading each new text. Also, for some reason, I can change the font my messages are in, but it doesn't affect the font of the incoming messages from the person I'm talking to. This isn't a problem with the other styles I have.
# by dougkai on 09/15/09 at 08:01:57I did not have Twitter configured before I installed 10.6, so I don't know if this issue is related to Snow Leopard, just me, or is some weird idiopathic problem. I am finding inconsistency with user name (exists or doesn't), user icon (exists or doesn't), and background color (flat black or glossy).
Here is a photo to show the odd behavior: http://divvyshot.com/photo/kcs/ Usually tweets have a user icon, user name, and a flat black background. The weirdness arrises when one person has more than one tweet in a row in my timeline. The picture I uploaded starts with three consecutive tweets from the same person, but they look different from each other. The picture ends with two pairs of tweets from two different users displaying different behavior. Thoughts? # by robrecord on 10/15/09 at 14:54:41Hi, I am having a problem with the text color - anything I type shows up at black text - obviously this is a problem for a dark background!
Anything you can do? I love this theme! Thanks :) # by Jugglinguy on 06/16/10 at 07:21:32Pretty nice layout, but i would appreciate a way for the text to move to the left side when you choose to hide icons.
