DescriptionThis script displays quotes from the alt text embedded in each of the XKCD comics up until September 27, 2008 (about 480 quotes). One randomly selected word in each quote is a link to the original comic.After installation, type /xkcd or %_xkcd for a random quote. CommentsYou can reply to individual comments by clicking the "Reply" link next to each. # by winterlady on 02/04/09 at 02:50:28So in testing this with some friends of mine - the coding is a little wonky. On the senders end, one sees the quote with the link to the comic as 1 word. On the receivers end, they see 1/2 of the alt-text until the full link comes through. So, if the quote is: (No , No Less), the Receiver sees: (No )
