Description

Includes the duck, the name, away & idle, signing in animation and message waiting all in the style of the new awesome CS3 icons.

For professionals who need continuity in their dock.

Notes:
Why not green? The average colour of Adium is the almost the same as Adobe Captivate. So it would just be a Captivate icon with Ad instead of Cp. But whats worse is it clashes something awful with Dreamwaver.

Adium is a 'common' Mac program, this naturally means blue or gray (finder, itunes, pages, preferences, dashcode, textedit, mail etc). And blue was taken for Photoshop so grey felt a natural choice for Mac lovers.

Any ideas for changes are welcome.

Those are all just 'Ad', this one has variance. It uses icon silhouettes (the duck) like 20% of the CS3 icons. And the message alert is similar to auxiliary icons in CS3 (help and uninstallers). Plus it has the apple loading spinner. This is a true CS3 homage.

I so want to recreate this style and apply to icons for other apps. I was just wondering what font, size and spacing between letters.
Is are letter positioned in the center of the square?
Is that a radial gradiant going from transparent to the desired colour with a white under-layer fill for the square?
Or is it just a linear gradient going from the top left corner to some where along the middle of the square?
Whats the opacity of gradient, if it has one? Is the drop shadow 1 or 2 pixels?
How big are the squares?
Did i miss anything else?

it's nice, but it is just a little bit too small. also, the font is just off, as if the whole thing got squeezed.
