DescriptionThe low-carb craze hits Adium! After weeks of strict diet and vigorous exercise, Fiat has shed those flabby pixels and is ready to don its swimsuit and head to the beach.ImagesCommentsYou can reply to individual comments by clicking the "Reply" link next to each. # by on 07/06/04 at 18:22:55Small bug, I think. Or maybe more of a quirk. Emoticons in a line of text throw the time stamp out of alignment. E-mail me if you can't reproduce and want a screen shot.
Very nice and sleek otherwise. # by on 07/16/04 at 13:15:23I thought I'd like this better than the original, but it just seems cramped... Maybe it's because I'm so used to the bigger fiat.
# by on 07/31/04 at 05:58:01This is my current favorite Message Style. I use the Gray-Dark variation, which goes very well with a theme like "Unobtrusive" and an overall milky-clean desktop. No bugs, no issues, just pure messaging zest.
# by on 10/04/04 at 00:10:29This window effect is awsome! Great job! My favorite setting is the blue on green!
# by Ben on 10/19/04 at 23:00:48I really like this style, is there a way to get rid of the buddy icons though?
# by Grant on 11/07/04 at 02:12:59Excellent! I had started doing this on my own some time ago but gave up because it was too much to bother with.
# by brandon on 11/22/04 at 03:04:14i really like this one. the regular fiat is so big. this one is great :)
# by on 12/27/04 at 18:17:11Great. Ive been using Fiat for a while now but been tryin to get it smaller as its rather big for those with longer names, so this is just perfect, Thanks.
# by on 05/07/05 at 12:46:23This is my main style.
Keep it up. Just a side note: you can use this style in Colloquy, believe it or not. The only thing that doesn't work is that the size of the screenname text does not shrink as you shrink the other text. :D # by on 05/08/05 at 03:56:58For those wanting to have the style show the away message: 1) Open package contents for the message style 2) Navigate to Contents/Resources/Status.html 3) Open the Status.html file in a text editor and change it to read the code below. I had to change all less-than signs changed to open parentheses and all greater-than signs changed to close parentheses in order to get it posted here -- make sure to change them back!! Then save, close, reselect message view in Adium. Having never worked with CSS, it took me nearly 2 hours to figure that all out! ;-)
(div class="status")(div class="time")%time%(/div)(div class="message")%message%(/div)(/div)(div id="insert")(/div) # by dzhim on 09/05/05 at 23:32:28This new version fixes the bug Matt mentioned, with away messages (and some other status messages) not showing up correctly. Also, formatting for copy and paste is improved.
# by izzyfmcm on 10/11/05 at 01:28:27how can i use this style and have a header showing? (like the one for the plastic theme) is it even possible?
# by blm on 06/19/08 at 15:58:51In 1.3b3, when a new chat window (or tab) opens, it's scrolled all the way to the top. Other styles automatically scroll to the bottom (so the most recent messages are visible). Is there a way to make Fiat Slim do the same? Otherwise a really nice style.
# by av3ry on 07/04/08 at 09:59:45I've completely fallen in love with this theme :)
However, would it be possible to allow background text colors to show up? I have several friends who use light text with a dark background and not only do I miss their color combinations, but now it's hard to read their text! I'm so in love with this theme I'm currently toughing it out and just squinting at their text, but I think eventually I'm going to have to give up on this one unless I can change it somehow : I've also had the issue blm mentioned. It still does it in 1.3b5. I don't mind that so much, I just miss the background colors! Either way, like I said, absolutely in love :) # by av3ry on 07/04/08 at 10:04:15also, I'm aware I could turn off message from other users, but I can't stand all the black because it just gets boring :P
# by bubblinvamp28 on 11/10/08 at 06:45:07same with blm how do i make fiat automatically scroll tot he bottom?
