One of the best skins for Adium IMHO so far.

I voted 4, because there are few things that can be improved. For example I was not able to set a different background color (the whiteness is burning my eyes), because you forgot to make the white-space around the bubbles transparent.

Overall, good job!

Very well done. Simple and unobtrusive, just like the theme. One suggestion I'd make however is a version with consecutive messages connected. Other than that, superb!

Haley: I tried doing it with consecutive messages combined, but the Webkit had problems with the way I hacked through the CSS to make the images go into place. Brad Smith helped take a look at it and we agree that the way that I did it is not the optimum way to accomplish it, but there was no other choice because of the lack of content to use as background images.

As for he general window background images, I'm not going to worry about it because this is the way that the theme is supposed to look. It was designed by someone else and I went by their specifications.

Too bright. A style with less paper and more plastic would be nice.

I love this skin. It's clean and easy to read, and doesn't take up much space -- while still being very aethetically pleasing.

Nice, but - I'd love to see these incorporated:

Seems obvious..but how about alternating the outline/colored ones so it's easier to see who's who.

...I'm a guy, and the butterfly icon bothers me. ;-)

I know you're working on it, but consecutive combined messages really saves space and makes things more concise...try to work on it, for me....hehe

If anything changes let me know!

I love it! Works well with the theme Paper & Plastic; and I love all of your themes, your a particular artist i look out for. You should make a theme to go along with it. Also, i think that the background color should be adjustable; perhaps the blue could be in the back and white as message bubbles?

Very cool; thank you

It would be cool if there were a variant with all the text bubbles going from left to right. Other than that, great message view, as always :D

This is such a great start... I wish there would be continued development (of both this and the theme, really) because they're both so close to absolutely wonderful...

Truly an awesome theme. There are however some bugs that needs fixing.

# by nanovivid on 04/18/05 at 14:31:41

Any chance of getting this fixed up to work with the Safari 1.3 webkit? Some of the bubbles are pretty broken. :-)

# by on 04/18/05 at 14:34:33

I'm not seeing anything broken with the new webkit. I'll look into it though.

# by nanovivid on 04/18/05 at 17:08:05

That's interesting. I'll try to send you a screenshot sometime tomorrow.

# by nanovivid on 04/19/05 at 13:00:56

I did some testing today and you're right -- it works just fine *except* in the preview in Message Preferences. I emailed you a screenshot of what I"m seeing.

since the new update that adium (.81) just came out with, the incoming message box is garbled up and the outgoing font isn't auto formatted to default colors. can someone help?

# by Skunkie on 10/04/05 at 01:25:13

Completely awesome theme. It is exactly what I am looking for at the moment. I too am definitely looking forward to consecutive messaging ability. I am definitely keeping my eyes open for updates! 4 Ducks!

Can this be made to have multiple IMs in the same bubble? Obviously this isn't updated anymore, so is there a way I can mod it to work?

# by mistermagooey on 01/29/10 at 07:52:26

crashed my adium. Thanks.

# by mistermagooey on 01/29/10 at 08:05:27

Cant get into message preferences because this theme makes adium 'crash' on my mac. Have to force quit. Cannot even OPEN adium because it tries to load the message style, which sucks and crashed adium. Thanks for the awesome theme. not.
Bug test next time

# by mistermagooey on 01/29/10 at 08:12:34

REinstallign adium doesnt help because the messagestyles file is constantly trying to load from some unknown directory on my computer. I cannot find where adium installs these add-ons. So I can't delete it. I'm ndexing my entire mac and searchign every nook for this add-on and cannot find it.
fantastic

# by mnkeybsness on 01/29/10 at 20:28:57

@mistermagooey: It works fine for me on Adium1.4 beta. Also note that this was created FIVE YEARS AGO and is no longer being supported with further development.
