DescriptionSaves the text you want to have as your nickname with/setName{your nickname} and displays it with %_name .Just set your nickname in the preferences to %_name and use /setName to change it.This is supposed to "fix" the lack of an easy way to change the nickname. In reality, this doesn't change your nickname, it is a kind of tricky way to change it. You can save in the %_name other thing if you want and use it whenever you want. Adium Developers say that it is not difficult to change it, but I am lazy and this can save me and you a couple of clicks and a cmd-, to go to adium's preferences. You can also write other tokens like %_track and it saves it as %_track , not as the name of the track, so, if you have it in your %_name , it gets updated(maybe this is trivial but sometimes I had problems with this because of the length of the token).-----USAGE----- 1.- Write %_name in the nickname field in the preferences.( maybe you want to write "YourName: %_name " to display a little message that you want everybody to see)2.- Change your name or message with /setName{yourNameOrMessage} 3.- Repeat step 2 as many times as you want. -----Special Characters (usage update)----- 1.- If you want to put special bash characters as " you need to type \" in order to have a " displayed. \\ for \ \* for * \| for | \" for " \' for ' \& for & \# for # \< for < \> for > 2.- If you wanna delete what is in %_name, just use /setName{""} .
