Cool with all the colors... I haven't used Adium for very long (I was an iChat guy for years), so maybe I'm missing something; but what is the difference between this and iChat Clone? How was ProtoScroll fused? Their colors?... I'd love to know if you figure out the "user is typing" clouds... I also got a 1px line in the middle on mine...

i'd recommend this to anyone looking for an iChat style since it has more colour options than the original iChat style or iChat clone, and it's just as professional!

this message style is awesome! too bad there isn't another way you can chang the bubbles (just in case you get sick of them) in regular ichat you can change it to regular text. ONe other thing, i just wanted to say thank you for not making the default icon a DUCK. it was so annoying getting Im's from friends who didn't have an icon,and having to stare at that abnoxciously huge icon of a duck. Kudos

The only thing that is missing in this for me is 32-bit bubbles so I can set a Window BG with it.

version 1.1 (coming soon!) will have support by default for custom colours in 0.8. I'm still working on it... so there will be some more stuff too! Including a iChat like time stamp.

Along with custom colors, how about allowing a random selection such as the one iChat gives you?

Text colors, or bubble colors? It would be cool to change bubble colors in the prefs!

Latest version isn't working correctly. Icons are huge, and no text bubbles, Text just appears right below the gigantic icons.

I don't see any of the Dave's issues? Does iChadium fail gracefully if someone uses .77?

anyone having a problem with incoming bubble colours? i want them to be aqua, but it seems to be randomizing them no matter what colour i pick

Shuffle isn't working for me. It's clear every time.

Also what happened to formatting the outgoing bubble color (your own)?

i cannot for the life of me get my own bubble color to change w/o changing the entire background....any way around that? shuffle seems to work fine for me, however, nice view!!

I can't see any options for MY chat bubble...I can only choose incoming chat bubble colors. Other than that, seems nice!

Anyway to differentiate between Away Status auto-responses? I can't really tell when an IM is an auto-response.

Is there any way you might be able to clone the other message style from iChat? I actually enjoyed it as much as the bubbles. :D

I can only change the text color and the 'document' color which is the area where you type your text from the font (apple-T) window.

Can you point me in the right direction? I just emptied my safari cache as well.

I'm having the same problem as gottacoppafeel. No matter what I do, it won't stop randomizing the bubble colors! It's driving me nuts! It worked perfectly for a couple days and now it seems to just be... crazy. Help

I figured out what's causing the nonstop shuffle. If you have "show header" checked in the message style window it will shuffle whether you select shuffle or not. This is because the script to randomize the colors is in the header file.

Will this be fixed???

I like the header, but i don't like my friends bubble's to change color every time a new message window is opened...

For the most part, I like it, but I'm getting a line in the middle of one-lined messages-- somewhat bothering. I understand that this is an issue in the iClone style as well, but I was hoping it might be working in this one. Possibly a fix soon?

I want my own background, but it has these awful white bars around it, as shown here. l know l have to make something invisible, can you do something about this?

awesome...is there anyway to implement a bubble to appear with "..." for when you or the other person is typing? and maybe fix up the timestamps a little....ichat displays the time every 5 minutes or something

let me be a little more clear about the timestamps:
-if you open a window with someone and it displays lines from a previous conversation, the time will print for when that took place, and if you begin typing a new conversation, the time will not print again. maybe adding the date to the previous text would be good too...
-when an available user changes their status to away, idle, offline, etc. i'd like to see for it to print out the time (which it does already) followed by the change, for example "whoever has changed their status to 'Away' with the message 'I am away from my computer right now'"...or something along those lines...same for idle (user has gone idle) or user has disconnected.
-if i remember correctly ichat also displays the time every so often...this would be a nice enhancement, although not necessary
-One other nice enhancement would be for when either you or the other user is typing, a speech bubble to appear with "..." iChat does this and it's kinda nice.

The skin is great, but I like to put sometimes a background image on my conversations, and it has some bugs with the balloons... Can't you take a look on that... That would be gorgeous!

the incoming bubbles won't shuffle their color... do you know why? otherwise great skin.

I would love to see the messages for "This user has gone away" and "Away: I stepped out for a bit" in the IM windows, and if possible the "..." bubble for when the other person is typing, and the occasional timestamp is a cool feature in iChat.

Otherwise it's a great style, two thumbs up.

I'm relatively new to using Adium, but am a longer time GAIM/Pidgin fan. When I switched to Mac, I used iChat at first but the functionality of Adium is clearly superiror - I did like the look of iChat however and that's why I love this theme. I also love that the default icon isn't the duck - the Mac networking icon and sillohette is much better for users without default icons - but I was wondering:

Does anyone knows if there's a a way to make Adium use the service icon (google talk, jabber, AIM, etc.) as the default user icon for users who don't supply their own ?

This would be replication of the way both iChat and Pidgin handle the default icon.

I really like this theme, but it seems like urls are not trimmed/truncated/wrapped and this introduces a very annoying horizontal scroll bar in the chat window.

Other than that, great work! I hope you get to fix this as I can't wait to make this my default.

I'm using adium v. 1.3.2 on a OSX v. 10.4.11, the shuffle color and time stamp doesn't seem to be working is there anything I can do or DL to fix this? also I was wondering if there was a way to use the service icon like WeiXinkai had suggested in an earlier comment.

Colors don't work with Adium 1.3.3 :(
