DescriptionPretty simple? a glowing orb that changes color. Nothing fancy here.ImagesCommentsYou can reply to individual comments by clicking the "Reply" link next to each. # by Boramor on 04/10/05 at 13:39:42I like them, but there are a few points that can be better:
1. The aqua 'transition' line shaped like a long S is somewhat sloppy. There are some excellent tutorials online which you can use to make them straighter. 2. The bottom, top and sides have this weird flat part. Like something's been cut off. I really like them nonetheless! Keep up the good work! # by maxintosh on 04/10/05 at 16:12:481. Yeah, I've done stuff like that before. I think the problem with this one is that I made it at 128x128 (rather than shrinking it down from a larger size) so it was harder to do.
2) Hmm... I'm not seeing that. Except I just realized the older images have that, which I redid, except for the alert one because for some reason the alert icons don't work for me (? Adium version 0.77). Is that where you're seeing that? Thanks for the suggestions, I plan to fix these things in the next version (although I don't know when that'll be, I'm really busy right now with homework, a composition, a soundset, and emoticons). And wow... 78 downloads! # by on 04/12/05 at 04:23:15I really like this one, only one more thing I'd like - it'd be better if it would glow yellow when I'm faking idle too (i.e. after selecting 'set idle' or 'set custom idle'), because sometimes I forget, and end up being "idle" for DAYS... I'm afraid someone's going to wise up ;). Anyways, awesome job, thanks! :)
# by Jacqueline on 04/12/05 at 04:28:10Oops, now it did, I guess I forgot that it takes some time after hitting 'set idle' for it to actually go idle... well, now don't I feel sheepish :P.
# by infinity on 04/18/05 at 12:20:04Very cool. My only suggestion would be to make the grey state yellow.
# by me on 04/21/05 at 04:27:13the sphere is not antialiased, around the border you have bright pixels on a dark background!
