DescriptionCalendar events is script that replaces the token "%_events" with things that are going on today, or happened in history. Events are taken out of the files in /usr/share/calendar/ , a standard inclusion on most UNIX based computers. An example of some events that might be printed follows:02/26 Dominique Francois Jean Arago born, 1786; 02/26 Aragorn takes the Paths of the Dead (LOTR) 02/26* Purim (Feast of Lots; 30 days before Pesach) Advanced users might add files to that directory in the same format and naming scheme to print their own personal events as well.
