I reccomend http://www.zone38.net/font/pcsenior.sit as the font. It's Excellent.

Can you make a new version with less space wasted by the timestamp? Maybe leave it out? I would like to keep the window as small as possible....

You should be able to do that yourself by adding
.time { display: none; }
to main.css (or adding a NoTS.css in the Variants subfolder with @import url(../main.css); and that in it).
